Our Story - Josie and Me

Mrs. Wuffles is a labor of love that began in 2004, when I became a pet parent to the most adorable little Giant Schnauzer puppy named Josie. Little did I know that it would be the beginning of a journey filled with joy and adventure.

In 2007, I began to rethink Josie’s diet of premium commercial dog food when she developed health issues. I started doing intensive research on pet nutrition

and made her meals in my own kitchen, prioritizing vegetables, fruit and clean meat to support longevity, boost immunity and promote a healthy inflammatory response. Josie’s health began to improve, and she lived 15½ energetic and beautiful years - much longer than most dogs of her breed and to the amazement of her vets.

In 2019 I made a decision to leave a long career in corporate management consulting to start Mrs. Wuffles as a legacy for my Josie, and so that other pet owners may benefit from the same recipes that she enjoyed.

It is my way of continuing the wonderful and unconditional love that I shared with her. It is my deepest wish that our nutritionally packed real food will enable you and your beloved pet to have more time, vitality and precious moments together.
